Jimmy Gatewood

Jimmy is a multi-instrumentalist who sings, plays guitar, harmonica, drums and percussion.  Jimmy has performed a variety of musical styles ranging from rock to blues, Top 40 to folk, classical to contemporary Christian.  As well as being a concert promoter, he has been instrumental in developing a local recording studio, participating in all aspects of the business from its construction to engineering sessions.  Jimmy is a graduate of UNC-G having a degree in music education with an emphasis in voice.  While attending UNC-G, he toured the U.S. with the University Chorale Group, whose list of performances includes the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.  He has appeared in musicals at the Barn Dinner Theater and has composed music for other productions there.  Some of his original music and arrangements are available on tapes and CD’s and can also be heard on local radio and television.

 

Amber Marlowe

Amber is a many faceted individual.  She is an artist, singer, and songwriter who has also gained national coverage as a professional model and talent.  Her resume includes work in theater productions, as well as time both on and off camera in both radio and television.  As reported in People Magazine, Amber has been recognized by the film industry as one of only 15 candidates chosen to be eligible for a role in a movie about Lucille Ball.  When not modeling or singing with Windfall, Amber enjoys co-directing improvisational workshops, and participating in Reiki for better health and well-being.

 

Kris Ferris

Kris has been playing music professionally for almost 30 years.  He has toured the southeastern states from Florida to Maryland, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, performing in Top 40 variety / dance bands.  While living in Atlanta in the late 80’s, Kris received honorable mention and was a third place finalist in the Atlanta Songwriter’s Competition.  He was a member of an all original band that did a live show for PBS and was under consideration for signing by Warner Brothers Records.  Kris sings, plays guitar, bass, percussion, and writes original compositions.  His time is now divided between working a full time job, being a single parent, and performing locally.

 

Bob Spencer

Bob has been a professional musician for over 25 years, playing in jazz, rock, R&B, and country bands.  He has performed on Hee Haw, the Grand Ol’ Opry, Disney World, Disney Land, Jamboree in the Hills, and other venues behind country stars such as Billy “Crash” Craddock, Helen Cornelius and Jim Ed Brown.  He has performed in 47 states throughout the U.S. and in Canada and Europe before audiences as large as 500,000 and as small as 1 (his wife of 19 years). He is known as a “utility” man in Nashville, playing keyboards, guitar, bass, sax, flute, harmonica, mandolin, and fiddle, and also sings.  His CD “Carolina Dreaming” is in stores throughout NC.  He also records other bands and musicians and adds his own special touch.
